EIS 2026

The 4th annual EURETINA Innovation Spotlight (EIS) held on Wednesday afternoon proved again that the programme is a rich educational opportunity for all attendees and a valuable forum for networking and collaboration. Therefore, it is easy to understand why the EIS has become a not-to-be-missed event for physicians, researchers, and industry representatives attending the EURETINA Congress. 

The Investor Panel at EIS 2026 compromised an international group of four participants who answered questions posed by moderators Kourous Rezaei, MD and Martin Zinkernagel, MD, PhD.

At the beginning of her keynote address on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Medicines Development: Perspective From an EU Medicines Regulator, Jane Moseley, Senior Scientific Officer at the European Medicines Agency (EMA) said she would be addressing three key questions: Where do we want to get to with AI in medicines development?; Where are we now?; and How are we going to get there?
