That concept was clearly on display at the American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS) World Retina Day session on Saturday afternoon where an international group of renowned retina specialists provided updates on cutting edge treatments.

Organised by EURETINA as a biennial event, World Retina Day (Saturday 21st September) serves as a platform for international collaboration, where retina specialists, other ophthalmologists and healthcare professionals, and researchers working in a variety of settings and coming from around the world gather to share insights and hear from leading experts in the field.
Leading EURETINA into the future
At the General Assembly meeting at the 23rd EURETINA Congress in October, 2023, Prof Anat Loewenstein, MD, MHA (Israel) was elected as President-Elect of the society by unanimous decision of the EURETINA Board. In the spring of this year, she took on the position of president early, following the sudden tragic passing of Prof Ramin Tadayoni.
